St Clare's Hospice is appealing for volunteers to help at its biggest annual event.
The charity is looking to recruit event marshals for its Rainbow Dash colour run which will be held on Sunday 21st May at Monkton Stadium.
It is anticipated that more than 300 people will attend the event which always proves to be a family favourite as children can take part in a 1k run alongside the main run which is 5k. Participants begin the Rainbow Dash as clean as a whistle and finish the run covered in an assortment of non-toxic coloured powdered paints.
Caroline Breheny, Corporate Fundraiser at St Clare’s Hospice, said: “This is one of our most popular events and it is always great to be a part of it. As it’s so busy we are in desperate need of volunteers to help out on the day. So if you have any friends or family attending Rainbow Dash why not come along as a volunteer? We really do appreciate any help we can get from our supporters in the local community.”
